WARRIOR CEREMONY

Leader to cat's mentor: (name of mentor), are you satisfied that this apprentice is ready to become a warrior of (name of Clan)?

Mentor to Leader: Yes (If they want, they may include a short explanation of whatever might have happened in training in why they should be made a warrior).

Leader to StarClan: I, (name of leader), leader of (name of Clan), call upon my warrior ancestors to look down upon this apprentice. She / he has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her / him to you as a warrior in her / his turn.

Leader to apprentice: (name of apprentice), do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your life?

Apprentice to leader: I do.

Leader to apprentice: Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. (name of apprentice), from this moment on you shall be known as (new warrior name). StarClan honors your (attribute shown while apprentice, ie: loyalty) and your (another attribute, ie: intelligence), and we welcome you as a full warrior of (name of clan).

Clan members greet the new warrior by their new name, and that night that cat must sit vigil (watch over the Clan) alone, not speaking until dawn, when a another warrior relieves them.

DEPUTY CEREMONY

Leader walks out before Moonhigh, says a few thing about previous Deputy.

Leader: for death of deputy - I say these words before the body of (former deputy's name) / for exile / disappearance of deputy - I say these words before the Spirits of StarClan so that they will be able to hear and approve my choice. (name of warrior) will be the new deputy of (name of Clan).

NAME CHANGE CEREMONY

Leader steps out before their clan (wherever they usually address their clan from).

Leader: Spirits of StarClan, you know every cat by name. I ask you now to lift this name from him / her, for it no longer stands for what she / he is. His / Her new name will be (new name).

If the leader wishes, they can add a brief explanation about why they gave that name.

APPRENTICE CEREMONY

Leader calls clan meeting and call six moon old kit(s) to stand before the leader.

Leader: (name of kit), you are now six moons old and you are ready to begin your warrior training. From now on, until you receive your warrior name, you shall be known as (apprentice name).

The leader then calls a warrior forward.

Leader: (warrior's name), you are now ready to receive an apprentice / another apprentice. You will mentor (apprentice name). May you pass on your (two good attributes) to him / her.

MEDICINE CAT APPRENTICE CEREMONY

Current Medicine cat brings the apprentice to the Moonstone.

Medicine Cat: I present (apprentice name) to StarClan. He / she has chosen to the path of the medicine cat, and I will train her / him. Now, he / she will share tongues with you to understand the secrets of our noble code.

Medicine cat and medicine cat apprentice press their noses to the Moonstone and dream of StarClan.

MEDICINE CAT CEREMONY
